Some info about this gun

I am trying to find out some info on this rifle I inherited from my grandfather. I know that it is foreign but that is about it. It doesn't have any markings other than a serial number. The same number is on every component part when you break it down and take it apart so I also know it is all original.

I think the gun is german made. Maybe the predecessor to the mouzer

looks german made. My grandfather has a double barrel 16 gauge shot gun from WWII his brother sent him from germany. It favors that gun a lot. The way it's made, the slenderness,etc...

haha man im not trying to be a smart alec or anything but you didnt really look up flintlock british .303 did you?>

well since i was a smart alec i will tell you this, it looks like a lee-enfield british rifle. which means it could be south african, british, any of the countries that used british rifles during world war 1.
